This restaurant was one of those down-home places where locals come out to eat. The only visible parking are spaces out front, but I was told you could park in the back or on the side. The service was what is expected from a local diner, friendly and down to earth. My husband had chicken fried steak, and I had chicken fried chicken. Both did not need steak knives. They were good size. The cfc took up nearly the whole plate but unfortunately was mostly breading. The gravy was awesome. If you order the salad as one of your sides, it comes in a side dish bowl (very small). We might try the place again and get a burger. I'll let you know!!

If you are hungry and looking for a good old country breakfast, this is the place to go. Staff are super friendly, very attentive and the food came out quick. Very local friendly like you could sip a cup of coffee for hours there and just talk to the town people.

This is about as close to a literal hole in the whole wall as I can think of, or at least the entrance seems that way. I wasn't sure what I was going into, but no fear the food is good. Once inside the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I had breakfast there today and it was quite good. I had the sunrise special or something like that and it included pancakes. They actually brought out a full bowl of pancake syrup! What a surprise. I would dine here again.

A single waitress he fled about 30 patrons when I got there. I had the pancakes, over-easy eggs and sourdough toasts ( the bread was delicious and the pancakes were already sweet, so a little syrup did the trick) Best of all, it reminded me of German eateries where you sit down wherever there’s a chair available and folks were most welcoming when I sat together with a large family, no one fuzzed about it

Country Kitchen is everything you’d hope for in a small town diner. Food was delicious, highly recommend the fried potatoes and loaded hash browns. The servers were prompt and personable. Very pleasant and attentive. Red and white tablecloths cover the tables and the dining room was clean. The atmosphere was perfect for enjoying breakfast with friends. Thankyou for the excellent service and delicious start to our day!
